WRITING RESUME

I've been a writer in some form or capacity since I was old enough to hold a pen (sixteen -- I was a late bloomer). In addition to the positions below, I had a book published in 1999, the WOW Magazine Hardback special edition. I didn't even know it existed until my wife found a second hand copy at a flea market in Seattle in 2004. *Sigh*.

• Researcher & Presenter, RTE Young People's Television (2007 - 2009) Writing projects include the "Madame Leman" segments and "Blake Geneva" segments (Wednesdays).

• Home (2008)
  Writer of the independent comedy short film "Home" from Abunchaguys Productions..

• Stand-Up Comedy (2007 - 2008)
  Wrote & performed a series of stand-up comedy routines for Pat O' Shea & the Craichouse Comedy Club. Performed in Cork (Slainte, Cyprus Avenue, UCC), Dublin (The International) & The Kilkenny Fringe Festival.

• Head Writer, Celtic Pro Wrestling (2005 - 2007)
  Head storyline writer for the ongoing soap opera that is pro wrestling for the Celtic Pro Wrestling group in Dublin, Ireland.

• Writer & Presenter, "The Bagpipe Report TV" (2004)
  Writer & presenter of the TBR TV show, a weekly entertainment show in the style of late night U.S. talk shows. The Bagpipe Report broadcast from England to thirteen countries in Western Europe.

• Writer, Romance Is Dead (2002 - 2003)
  Songwriter for Irish rock band Romance Is Dead, which released the album "Addicted To Emma" in 2003.

• Contributing Writer, Stampede Wrestling (2001)
  My first work in the field of writing for pro wrestling came under the Hart brothers (Bruce & Ross) in Canada.

• Editor-In-Chief, IGN Wrestling (2000)
  Creator and head of the IGN Wrestling network from Snowball.com Inc. for which I wrote a daily column as well as managing the writing staff.

• Columnist, CBS Sportsline (1999)
  Penned the daily "Norton's Notes" column for "Wrestleline," a subdivision of CBS Sportsline.com.

• Columnist, ECW Magazine (1999)
  Feature columnist for the official magazine of Extreme Championship Wrestling.

• Contributing Editor, World of Wrestling Magazine (1999)
  International magazine published by H&S Media.

• Editor, "The Bagpipe Report" (1998 - 1999)
  I took over TBR upon Charles's retirement.

• Writer, "The Bagpipe Report" (1996 - 1998)
  I developed my journalistic writing style under editor Charles MacLaurin.
